People are ready for Good Girls Season 4 to hit Netflix. Following three suburban moms-turned criminals, the show has been a big hit with fans and critics, earning just under a 90% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The first three seasons are already streaming on Netflix, but what about the fourth? When will Good Girls Season 4 be on Netflix? Here's what we know.

Where does 'Good Girls' Season 4 pick up?

Good Girls returned to TV in March after an abbreviated third season, caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The show had left off with Beth and Dean getting ready for the opening of Boland Bubbles, not realizing Agent Phoebe Donnegan was closing in on them. The fourth season picked up from there and ran through the end of July.

When will 'Good Girls' Season 4 be on Netflix?

Given that Good Girls just finished its last season, it could take some time until it arrives on Netflix. As Bustle notes, the streaming service usually won't add the latest season until around a year after it aired on NBC. If that pattern continues, we won't be seeing Good Girls Season 4 on Netflix until the summer of 2022. But we'll have to wait for an official announcement to know for sure.

That said, there are still ways to watch Good Girls Season 4. As of writing, the final five episodes are on Hulu, but if you haven't seen any of them, Amazon Prime Video allows you to purchase the full season for $24.99.

Will there be a 'Good Girls' Season 5?

Unfortunately, Good Girls Season 4 is the last. Despite having a solid following, the series was canceled by NBC in June. Insiders told TVLine the cancelation was allegedly the result of financial issues and creative differences.

Lead actors Christina Hendricks (Beth), Mae Whitman (Annie), and Retta (Ruby) had reportedly agreed to film a fifth and final season with a pay cut, but the deal allegedly fell apart when "negotiations with co-star Manny Montana (Rio) hit a wall." Showbiz Cheat Sheet reached out to representatives for Montana for comment at the time, but did not hear back.

Some hoped Netflix would swoop in and save the show after its cancelation as it did with Arrested Development and Lucifer. However, sources told TVLine there was "no chance of the series moving to a new home," effectively putting an end to the series, which began airing in 2018.

The news of its cancelation was met with many reactions online, from shock to outrage. Someone even created a petition on Change.org to save the show, but it has yet to reach its goal of 50,000 signatures. Though a revival looks unlikely, at least the series lives on via streaming services.
